Hiring A Limousine For A Funeral
A funeral is often a solemn occasion, as family and friends gather to pay their last respects to the departed, but not always so.
On some occasions, the person who has died has expressed wishes that his or her funeral should NOT be a solemn occasion, and that everyone should take part in a spirit of gratitude for having known him or her, and at the same time have a party after the funeral service and enjoy the occasion. Sometimes, the person has even left a specific amount of money for exactly that purpose.
There may be other requests, such as in the case of one lady we know, who wishes everyone to wear something red at her funeral, that being her favorite color.
Whatever the wishes of the deceased, and however the day is going to be marked, the finest way to show respect is to travel to the ceremony in a Fredericksburg VIP limo, and also on to the wake afterwards.
Other considerations aside, the wine often flows fairly freely at a wake, so you really don’t want to drive if you can avoid it.
We have a selection of black limos that are ideal for a funeral, and arriving at the ceremony in one of them is a great way to show respect. You can relax in comfort in the luxurious leather seats. If you should happen to have to make a speech, or read the eulogy, it’s a good way to calm any of those last minute nerves.
Your uniformed chauffeur will wait for you until after the funeral service. You may then need to go on to the crematorium, or a burial ground.
Then it is off to the wake, which may be a quiet affair, or it might be quite a party, depending on the wishes of the departed. Your chauffeur will wait for you for as long as you wish, and see you safely home afterwards.
